Avon MagiX Face Perfector SPF 20

After reading so many reviewers say that they used less makeup because of this product, I wanted to try it. For me, it did nothing. I don't have particularly oily skin, just some fine lines, a few old acne scars, and the occasional blemish. This product didn't do anything to hurt my skin, but I also didn't see any improvement. For me, it's a sun screen, and nothing more.

I found this worked well until about an hour after when my eyes had a burning/stinging sensation above my lashes, it was a hot day and became unpleasant driving. I tried it at night but no problems.

I love this product but found myself out of it recently and decided to try L'Oreal's Studio Secrets Face Perfecting Base. Although it goes on super velvet and starts out doing the exact same thing as MagiX I found that it did not banish the shine for more than 2 hours after I applied it. I generally wear the product alone without foundation or powder simply because I like the more natural look. MagiX banishes shine and even though I'm African American the SPF included is a PLUS. Try it, you won't be dissapointed.

I have extremely oily skin. I mean from the time I put on my foundation until exactly 1 hour later my t-zone is oily. It has been several hours and my chin and nose are still pretty non oily. I have never found anything that will do the job. I will be ordering a few more so I don't run out.

Read the reviews and thought I'd give it a try. Well, I WANT MY MONEY BACK! It goes on smoothly, but feels dry, and powdery. It did not make my makeup stay all day, nor did it control the shine. If anything this thing made my makeup concentrate on certain areas even after much blending. I would not recommend this product nor will I buy it again. I just purchased the Mally Perfect Prep Poreless Primer, and have high hopes for it. I'm sure anything will work better than this AVON product.
