The first time purchase of Cinnamon Bun Philosophy Lip Shine which was a year ago for my teenage daughter and she loves the lip gloss and she also likes Cinnamon Buns for a desert treat, she told me it was scent and the fragrance was like the real Cinnamon Buns but without the calories!

They originally sent me the wrong scent of lip gloss. I called and they said to keep that and they would also send me the correct flavor. It ended up being an even better deal for me!

I received a tube of philosophy's cinnamon buns flavored lip gloss for Christmas (along with other philosophy products). I was super excited to try this because I've been told by numerous people that philosophy's products are spectacular.
First, I must point out that there are sparkles in this lip gloss. Although they're very subtle on your lips, if you're the type of gal who hates sparkles and shimmer in your makeup, I'd stay away from this product. As for smell, it DOES smell like cinnamon buns. It certainly does not TASTE like it however (which is a good thing... I tend to lick off my lip gloss if it tastes good... this lip gloss does not taste good). It's very sticky and thick so you don't have to use too much. It also stays on your lips for a good amount of time.
Would I suggest this product? If you're looking for a good-smelling, long lasting lip gloss, I'd definitely recommend this. However, if these two things don't matter to you I'd suggest you skip this ($10 for a tube of lip gloss isn't cheap after all) and go for a drugstore brand lip gloss.

I love the Cinnamon Buns shower gel, so I thought I would try the lip gloss. For one thing, it smells/tastes nothing like Cinnamon buns. I don't know what the flavor is, but I don't like it. Maybe they have added almond or something. Secondly, it's way too sticky. My hair kept getting stuck to my lips. It reminds me of vaseline. Since I got this product in a kit, I cannot return it, but I will not be using it again.
